Char Marie Flood is a self-taught photographer
specializing in black and white fine art and documentary photography.
Her subject matter includes urban and rural landscapes, ancient objects
and nature.
In addition to widespread exhibitions, Char Marie's work has been
published as greeting cards, appeared on the cover of annual reports,
and was published by the International Library of Photography.
Additionally, her work has appeared in publications such as The Sun
Magazine, Kalliope - a Women's Journal of Art, and SHOTS
Magazine.
Char Marie has been honored at the Illinois Governor's Executive
Mansion by Former First Lady Lura Lynn Ryan for her contributions as an
Illinois artist. Additionally, she was a finalist in the 2002 Alice and
Arthur Baer Annual Art competion at The Beverly Arts Center in Chicago.
Most recently, she was selected as a 2004 artist-in-residence for The
Field's Project, Bringing Artist and Agriculture Together, Oregon,
IL.
