Jennifer Casey Fernandez has been designing and
selling hand-crafted treasures since elementary school. Remember the
"Ali McGraw" crocheted hats? She had them on consignment at a local
gift shop when she was 11. Then there was the macrame bracelet
phase....She went on to earn a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
degree and spent 12 years working as a land-use planner. A few years
ago, she rediscovered and quickly became obsessed with the "Joy of
Fabrics". All that design theory and practice paid off in a different
approach to her craft. Known as a rouge quilter, Jennifer doesn't pick
up a pattern and sew it, she designs all her own quilts, and finds
great joy in selecting the fabrics to create them. She currently does
design work for, and teaches classes at Quilter's Palette in Morton
Grove. Her latest passion is fabric bowls. From sophisticated to
playful, they are something new and exciting for your table. Watch for
an expanded line to include quilted and woven table runners.

fabrics. She will donate profit from sales of these bowls to benefit Pathfinder International.
